Why We Created BAXTER
A better process begins earlier.
We saw too many capable students and caring families arrive at the college process feeling as though they were already behind. They were not looking for someone to choose a future for them. They needed someone to make the process understandable.
College planning is often treated as something that begins when a student starts filling out applications. By then, families are being asked to make important decisions quickly, often without the time or context needed to feel confident about them.
We created BAXTER to replace that pressure with a clear path forward.
Our approach gives students time to understand their strengths, explore possibilities, build meaningful experiences and make decisions with intention. Families always know what matters now, what can wait and what comes next.
We do not believe there is one right college, one right path or one definition of success. We believe students make stronger decisions when they are given useful information, thoughtful guidance and the space to determine what is right for them.

BAXTER was built by a team with different strengths and one shared purpose: helping students and families move through the college planning process with greater clarity, confidence and support.
Brook Roy
Director of Operations and Client Experience
Brook helps ensure that every BAXTER family feels supported, organized and confident throughout the process. She brings a steady presence to moments that can otherwise feel uncertain and makes sure families understand what is happening, what is needed and what comes next.
Her perspective is shaped by years of supporting students and families through important transitions. At BAXTER, she leads the client experience and day-to-day operations with warmth, responsiveness and a deep respect for the trust families place in our team.
Erin Progelhof
Director of Equity and Outreach
Erin works to make thoughtful college-planning guidance available to students who may not otherwise have access to it. Her commitment to this work is personal, shaped by her own experiences and by the many students and families she has supported through applications, essays and important decisions.
She brings encouragement, perspective and a strong belief that every student deserves high-quality information and meaningful support. Through BAXTER’s outreach efforts, Erin helps extend that support to more families and works to ensure that opportunity is not limited by circumstance.
Ginger Womble
Principal Advisor
Ginger leads BAXTER’s advising strategy and the development of its college-planning methodology. She believes families make better decisions when complex information is organized into a clear and manageable path.
After seeing how quickly the college process can become overwhelming without an early framework, she helped create BAXTER to give families the structure they need before pressure takes over. Ginger completed her certification in college counseling through the University of California, San Diego and remains focused on helping every family make informed, well-supported decisions at each stage of the journey.
